About Miller’s Automotive Service!

Auto Repair Gastonia, NC

about-us

Miller’s Generator & Brake Service opened for business in 1966 when Jap Miller, my dad, began the business with the automotive electrical service. I joined the business in 1974. As the business grew we were able to offer more services to our customers. Eventually we expanded to brake and tune up work. And now, at our customers’ request, we have taken on all lines of automotive services. Ben, my son, joined our staff in 2000 to give us our third generation of Millers.

Our desire at Miller’s Automotive Service is to treat our customers as we would want to be treated: fairly, promptly, courteously and with worry free automotive service.

We invite you to drop by and let us take care of all your automotive needs!

Meet the Team

david

David Miller

David, owner of Miller’s Automotive Service, was born and raised in Gastonia where automotive experience started early. His father started Miller’s in 1966, so he has worked in the shop for many years. David is now running the business and not out on the shop floor very often.

If he is not at the shop, you can find him golfing, fishing, or hanging out with his wife, Robyn and/or with his seven grandkids!

ben

Ben Miller

Ben, owner of Miller’s Automotive Service, is David’s son. Ben has been around the automotive industry his entire life and has worked at Miller’s since he was 13 years old. Ben used to be our wiring specialist, but now you can find him in the office working alongside David and being the shop foreman.

If Ben is not at the shop you will have to hunt him down because he has many hobbies. He likes anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and his 2 kids, Reese and Lane.

He also enjoys many outdoor activities such as being out on the lake, snowboarding, gun collecting, and shooting sports.

Kathy Bell

Kathy has been with Miller’s for over a year now. She has worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years where she has held many positions from customer service to Store Manager. She is now a Service Advisor at Miller’s and is in charge of our inventory.

Kathy and Bob, the love of her life, have 5 boys ages 9 to 22. Her oldest son serves in the Airborne Unit for the U.S. Army. You can find Kathy at the dirt track cheering on Bob and their son as they race, out riding motorcycles or at a Panthers game!

  • “My family has 3 cars serviced by Miller for many years. They charge you a very reasonable price for the quality services they provided. They stand behind the work they performed. Just like any business owned by any family, the name is more important than anything. Overall, I would say, “The Price is Right”, no worry, no hassle, people you can trust.”
